Our program, developed by degreed Early Childhood and Elementary Education majors, has been built upon the knowledge and experience gained over the years since its inception in 2006. Our preschool days incorporate hands-on exploration and play to prepare children for kindergarten
Our class size is kept small to provide frequent one-on-one guidance. Our small preschool class allows children ages three to five to learn together! For break-out sessions, children are grouped together as “three/younger fours” and “older fours/fives” and are taught material that is age-appropriate and aimed at their individual abilities. Those children who turn three after the official program start will spend time in the small groups at their level and interest until they officially start the program.
In addition to these educational concepts, life skills are a core component. Children go off to school having increased their social awareness, self-care practices, emotional control, and communication skills. In our preschool program we offer gentle guidance, unlimited support in learning, and opportunities for self-expression.
Our program runs September through May each year. Preschool classes are held Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
Kuddlebugz Kids has been caring for young children in the Schererville, Saint John, and Crown Point areas of Indiana since 2006. We are an Indiana state-licensed home-based daycare and preschool serving children from 16 months through age 5.
